Author, E.J. "Samadhi" Whitehouse
Samadhi WhitehouseAuthor, E.J. "Samadhi" Whitehouse will be reading excerpts from a very personal--yet communal--journey, which has resonated with many of her readers.  She begins with giving us insight into why she had the need to run away so often--from family and from self.
As she weaves through many Middle Eastern countries, her chosen passages will also reveal how oppression--including the execution of women--and the emptiness of the desert resonated so deeply within her, and how she eventually came to personal acceptance of her sexuality, spirituality, and forgiveness. A slide presentation will be included.
From darkness into light… Veiled oppression of Arabian women was the crucial mirror needed to see her reflection. The stark emptiness of the desert echoed her internal emptiness-until she saw the oasis. Follow her search for what she thought was lost-her soul.
Time: 4:00pm-4:45pm Exhibitors Hall
