In many cases, we're more likely to find a book in the Spirituality section of our local bookstore, or go on a nature hike on a Sunday afternoon . Our spiritual searches have evolved and often include a growing awareness of the power of place in our geographically overstated part of the world. In this one-hour session, author Star Weiss will present an overview of the currently "hot" topic of how and where we are discovering our spirituality today, based on the trends she discovered while researching her new book Havens in a Hectic World: Finding Sacred Places (TouchWood Editions, Spring, 2008). There will be time for participants to become personally engaged in what is sure to be a lively discussion of our changing spiritual beliefs.
